Character Summary: In 1979, Paul had an affair with Nikki Reed and gave her gonorrhea. Paul then moved his affections to April Stevens and she became pregnant. In 1980, Paul refused to help April with her pregnancy and wanted her to give the baby up for adoption. Paul and Nikki got mixed up in a cult for a bit, but were rescued. In 1981, Paul decided to marry April and she gave birth to a daughter named Heather. In 1983, Paul was caught up in a mob story with Nikki and his father Carl. Paul's friend Jazz killed the head of the mob. In 1984, Paul married Lauren Fenmore and she met a crazed fan named Shawn Garrett. In 1985, Shawn kidnapped Lauren and threatened to kill Paul. In 1986, Lauren divorced Paul because Shawn made her do it, but Paul and Andy rescued Lauren who miscarried. Paul later divorced from Lauren. In 1988, Paul fell in love with Cassandra Rawlins and learned she was married. Cassandra's husband George told Paul he wanted him to father a baby for them. In 1989, George set it up to look like Paul had killed him, but it was a set up. Paul pretended to be dead to catch George and Cassandra in their lies. Paul later married Chris. In 2001, Chris discovered Paul having sex with Isabella and filed for divorce. Isabella announced she was pregnant and in 2002 Paul married her. Isabella gave birth to a baby boy. Later Paul acted on his leftover feelings for Chris and forced himself on her. In 2003, Paul discovered Isabella's lies and she went crazy trying to kill Chris. Paul saved Chris. Chris and Paul reunited briefly, but decided their relationship was not working. Paul moved back to his mother's house and is getting involved again with Lauren.

Character Summary: Chris was called Cricket when she first arrived on the show and was a teen model. In 1984, Chris saved Tracey Abbott after she had tried to kill herself. In 1986, Chris became friends with Nina. Nina had lost her baby in a black market baby scam to Rose DeVille. Chris and Danny agreed to help Nina find her baby. In 1987, Chris, Nina, Phillip and Danny played ring around the relationships. In 1988, Chris' mother Jessica came to town and became involved with John Abbott. Chris later learned that her mother had AIDS and her mother passed away. In 1989, Chris became involved with Dr. Scott Grainger, but learned he was her half brother. Later, Chris was raped by Derek Stuart. In 1990, Chris and Danny had a fairy tale wedding. In 1991, Chris and Danny helped Nina who was being stalked by David Kimble and David ended up in a trash compactor. In 1992, Michael Baldwin sexually harrassed Chris and she took him to court. He was sent to jail and censured. In 1993, Danny left town for a concert tour and Chris got closer to Paul Williams. In 1994, Danny had an affair with Phyllis Somers and she claimed her son was Danny's child. Chris and Danny were divorced. In 1995, Phyllis tried to run over Danny and Chris and the accident left Paul impotent, but he recovered. In 1996, Chris slept with Danny the day before she and Paul were married. In 2000, Chris went to work for Michael at his new law firm and Chris and Paul's marriage hit the rocks. In 2001, Chris found Paul having sex with Isabella and filed for divorce. In 2002, Paul forced himself on Chris. Chris became engaged to Michael Baldwin, but they later broke up. In 2003, Chris and Paul reunited briefly, but decided to call it quits. Chris was named Assistant District Attorney.

Mary Williams

Character Summary: Mary has spent much of her time on the show as the meddling mother of Paul. In 2002-2003, she got involved in the investigation of Paul's then wife Isabella. Mary and Lynne, Paul's secretary, worked to find out the lies that Isabella had told Paul. When Isabella set up her own murder, Mary was one of the suspects. Now that Isabella is gone, Mary is back to meddling in Paul's life.
