Esther showed up in 1982 as Katherine Chancellor's loyal maid. She has been with Mrs. C through thick and thin. In 1994, Esther fell for a con man named Norman who was trying to rob Mrs. Chancellor. Kay's husband Rex found Norman trying to rob the safe and Norman shot and killed Rex. Norman was sent to prison. To this day, Esther is still Kay's loyal maid even though the two are currently living in a hotel after Kay moved out of the mansion to give Jill some space.

Lynne Bassett

Lynne has been Paul's loyal secretary for years. She is also not so secretly in love with Paul, but he has never returned her affection. Lynne has a very good relationship with Paul's mother Mary and worked with her in 2003 to try and get Isabella out of Paul's life.

Miguel Rodriguez

Miguel has been the Newman family butler/cook for years. He has always been there with the pot of coffee or fresh breakfast for the Newman family. In 1997, Nikki's husband Josh Landers crazy ex wife showed up surgically altered and got involved with Miguel and became a housekeeper at the Newman's. In 1998, Veronica shot Josh and killed him and also shot Nikki. Miguel blame himself, but the Newman family told him it was not his fault. Miguel continues to be the Newman butler/cook to this day.

John Silva

John Silva has been the town lawyer for years. Anytime someone needed a lawyer John was there. Unfortunately, he has not had much of a storyline outside his lawyer duties and now with Chris and Michael both practicing in town, the job prospects are looking slim.

Diane Jenkins

In 1982, Diane was seeing the married Jack Abbott. In 1983, Jill arranged for Jack's wife Patti to see Diane and Jack making love and it caused Patti to miscarry. Diane and Jack continued to see one another. Diane got involved with Andy and the two married. In 1986, Diane and Andy divorced and Diane left town. Diane returned to town in 1996 and took up with Jack again. In 1987, Diane had an affair with Victor which ended her engagement to Jack. Diane married Victor. In 1999, Diane took a sample of Victor's sperm from a sperm bank to get pregnant. In 2000, Diane became pregnant with what she thought was Victor's child. In 2001, paternity tests proved that Diane's son was not Victor's but Jack's and Jack later learned the truth. In 2002, a nasty custody fight ensued for Kyle. In 2003, Diane got in the middle of the cosmetics war and gave Jack money to help the cause and he gave her a job at Jabot causing problems for Jack and Phyllis.

Raul Gutierrez

Raul first appeared in 1999 as a friend of Billy Abbott's. Raul developed a crush on Mackenzie Browning and so did Billy. In 2000, Raul, Billy, Mac and Brittany will all involved together. In 2001, Raul learned he had diabetes. Raul got closer to Brittany. In 2002, Brittany and Raul got even closer and moved in together. In 2003, Raul discovered Brittany was stripping at Marsino's club and the two broke up.

JT Hellstrom

JT Hellstrom showed up in town as a partying bad boy. Raul and Billy did not like JT. In 2002, JT found himself falling for Colleen Carlton. JT ended up in bed with Anita Hodges for a one night stand that caused a breakup with Colleen. In 2003, JT and Colleen made their way back to one another. JT rescued Colleen from a fire at Gina's and became a hero to her and to her father Brad.
