Week Ending July 4 Mitch ended up dead after he was released from jail. Kevin made Blair out to be the main suspect on the front page of The Banner. Asa met Flash/Sarah. Renee accepted Asa's proposal. The 4th of July was full of fantasies for Llanview. Jen got drunk and tried to seduce Joey who turned her down. Week Ending July 11 Joey and Jen gave into to their feelings and Rex found them in bed together. Rex agreed to give Jen a divorce for the money, but he later changed his mind. Troy switched Lindsay's medications in order to make her appear delusional. Cris saw Troy stealing drugs and later Troy found Jen's tape of him with several women. Walker and Troy had an altercation and Troy's head hit the wall. River and Adrianna grew closer. Marcie talked with Rae about her relationship with Al. Week Ending July 18 Walker confessed to killing Mitch, but later Jessica confessed to Antonio that she killed Mitch. Walker told Starr that Todd told him to come to Llanview to keep an eye on her and Jack. Troy pretended to be Colin in order to get one of Colin's friends to commit Lindsay to his insane asylum. Jen told Joey she prefers Rex and broke things off with him. Kevin agreed to back Daniel for D.A. if he digs up dirt on Hank. Week Ending July 25 Troy got Lindsay commited to the asylum and locked Jen up with her. Troy discovered Gabrielle was wearing a wire. Walker called Kelly to tell her that Kevin was fooling around. Antonio though that Jessica was protecting Walker. Marcie got into trouble for displaying a peace banner in her dorm room. Week Ending August 1 Troy was arrested after trying to kill Nora and carted off to St. Ann's. Bo saved Gabrielle. Kelly wanted to know if Kevin was having an affair. Kevin and Blair shared a passionate kiss. Bo destroyed Jessica's confession saying they may never know what really happened to Mitch.
