Week Ending August 3

Starr talked to Viki about Cole. Marty insisted that she is the one who killed Spencer. Todd had devastating words for Blair. Sarah begged Cris for a job. Bo had no choice but to arrest Marty after her confession. Starr forgave Cole but things got more complicated when Marty was arrested for murder. Rex and Adrianna kissed. Miles pleaded not guilty in court. Todd demanded answers from Miles. Miles was pressured to confess but Natalie convinced him to fight the charges. Todd was out for revenge on Miles. Cole visited Marty in jail. Rex and Adrianna reunited. Jessica filled Todd in on some important details. Vincent and Layla made a committment to each other after she praised his actions involving Tate. John wanted Michael to reveal his secret because he thought it was connected to Spencer's murder. Michael worried that the truth would destroy Marcie. Sarah had to deal with being financially cut off by her family. Bo and Antonio were both single again. John thought Rex and Michael were keeping a huge secret. Blair was affected by Todd's admission of his lingering feelings for Evangeline. Todd made an impassioned plea in the courtroom. Marty was shocked to see Miles at her jail cell. Todd and Cole reached an understanding. John questioned Natalie's motives and accused her of siding with Miles to get back at him. Jessica and Nash faced the truth about their sudden marriage and its effect on Antonio. Rex refused to allow Adriana to blame herself for believing Tate's lies. Todd, Blair, Starr, and Jack spent an evening together as a family. John was determined to prove Marty's innocence.

Week Ending August 10

John and his team barged in on Rex and Adriana with a search warrant. Natalie defended Miles when Renee refused him a room at the Palace. Clint urged Sarah to start showing some responsibility. Dorian was shaken up after she received a postcard from David. Marty refused to listen to John and Cole and was sent to jail after pleading guilty to killing Spencer. John found the forged death certificate for Todd's child and confronted Rex. Todd and Blair were reluctant to move ahead with their relationship. Dorian and Viki had a showdown over David. Michael was forced to confess the truth about Tommy to John. Cole paid Marty a visit in jail. Cris rescued Sarah when Hunter demanded money and in the fight Hunter was fatally stabbed. Todd believed that his son was dead. Blair and Dorian were not happy that Viki was helping Miles. Antonio accepted Talia's invite to Monte Carlo night. Langston, Maarko and Starr supported Cole. Michael begged John to keep his secret. Miles was hurt when Cole and Nora threw his stuff out of Marty's apartment. Tate showed no remorse for his crimes and pleaded guilty. Vincent and Layla made love. Todd was outraged that Viki was allowing Miles to stay at Llanfair. Tate was taken to jail where his worst nightmare waited for him. Marcie wanted Michael to open up to her. Hunter's death weakened the case against Miles. Todd visited Evangeline and poured his heart out to her. Antonio gave Nash 30 days to buy him out of the vineyard. Antonio attempted to cut all ties with Nash and Jessica. Nash refused Jessica's money. Clint refused to give Sarah money.

Week Ending August 17

Michael worried when he saw Blair holding Tommy. Dorian challenged Viki to a card game at the casino. Sarah hoped to get money out of Asa. Talia made up a fake boyfriend when Antonio asked her about her love life. Marcie questioned John about Michael's personal struggles. Dorian won the poker game. Blair reached out to Todd. Cole lost at strip poker. John heard Marcie say she would do anything to protect her son and he wondered if she killed Spencer. Blair and Todd tried to keep their relationship simple. Marcie realized that John thinks she killed Spencer. Viki worried about Natalie's growing friendship with Miles. Nigel made a shocking discovery (Asa (Phil Carey) died OFF SCREEN). Alex (Tonja Walker) returned for Asa's funeral. Viki and Dorian ended up locked in a room together. Todd and Blair almost kissed. Nora told Viki that even if she did not want Clint that she did not want Dorian to have him either. Michael warned John if he revealed the truth about Tommy they would no longer be brothers. James DePaiva (Max), Dan Gauthier (Kevin), John Loprieno (Cord), Tonja Walker (Alex), and Nathan Fillion (Joey) returned for the show's 10,000th episode. Clint and Bo lashed out at each other. Talia confronted Antonio about his behavior towards Jess and Nash. Cord tried to make Sarah feel less guilty about spending more time with Asa. Bo took Asa's death particularly hard. Todd printed a flattering headline in The Sun about Asa out of respect for Jessica, but Blair was not happy to see what he really wanted to print. Maarko resisted having sex with Langston aware that she was using it to cover her real problems.

Week Ending August 24

John thought he was one step closer to finding Spencer's killer. Miles was charged with attempted murder. Todd was jealous that Max kissed Blair. Talia tried to hide her crush on Antonio. Max had some strong words for Todd. John came to a shocking conclusion. John Brotherton joined the show as Jared Banks. Todd and Blair wanted Miles locked up for a long time. Michael pleaded with John to keep quiet. Todd was jealous when he learned Max kissed Blair. Miles pleaded guilty to theft. Jared snooped around Buchanan Enterprises and Natalie. Michael panicked when he thought the police were after Marcie. Natalie saw through Jared's act. Roxy allowed Nash to join her poker game. Nora had to give a speech introducing Lindsay as Llanview's Woman Of The Year. Jessica wanted to take Bree to visit Kelly and Zane in London. Marty had more memories and helped John discover who killed Spencer. Lindsay prepared for Nora's speech. Antonio went back to work at the cop shop causing Talia to have to hide her feelings even more. Lindsay broke down in tears during her speech. Jared got into a high stakes poker game with Nash and Nash ended up losing a lot of money. Jared contacted Antonio Dorian impressed Clint. Spencer's killer was arrested...Lindsay.

Week Ending August 31

Lindsay was arrested for killing Spencer and refused to deny her guilt, actions that alarmed Marcie. Antonio sold his shares of the vineyard to Jared. Nash borrowed money from Clint to buy Antonio's shares of the vineyard. Miles tried to tell Todd the truth about Tommy. Marcie was outraged by Lindsay's arrest. Sarah took a waitressing job at Capricorn, but then got some good news from Nora. Nash lied to Jessica about the poker game and vineyard. Miles dropped a bomb on Blair. Marty was set free. Natalie was concerned about Miles after his fight with Todd. Nora found the holes in John's case against Lindsay. Blair had explosive information. Lindsay urged Marcie not to press for details about the case. Natalie refused to be swayed by Jared. Blair found out the truth about Tommy from Miles and told Todd before John could stop her. Nash confronted Jared about his real agenda. Todd wanted his son back immediately. Blair felt sorry for Marcie.
