Week Ending May 2

Bo and Hope were reunited with Chelsea at the hospital and learned about the trouble with her reproductive system. Ava went into convulsions at the hospital. A thug threatened Stephanie. Daniel told Lexie that Chelsea might die because of him. Sami refused to let EJ spend time with the twins. Bo blamed himself for what has happened to Chelsea. Kate blamed Daniel and Victor for what happened to Chelsea. Sami got upset when she saw Nicole holding the twins. Daniel told Lexie he was resigning from Chelsea's case. The police questioned John and Paul. Phillip warned Morgan about her father's dealings with John Black. EJ and Sami tried to get ready for his immigration hearing. John planned to use Paul against the Kiriakis clan. Nicole revealed her true colors to EJ. Chelsea asked Daniel the reason behind his resignation. Hope was unable to comfort Bo. Stephanie and Max reaffirmed their love. Tony and Anna made a brief connection. Abe and Lexie decided to spend more time together. Kayla asked Ava about her medication. Bo and Hope renewed their love for one another. Sami did something out of character with EJ. Chelsea was discharged from the hospital. Kayla took Ava's pills to be analyzed. Lexie suggested she and Abe go for marriage counseling. Abe tried to question Ava. Stephanie lashed out at Ava. Morgan challenged Phillip when he called her father a spineless jerk. Chelsea made a decision about her relationship with Nick. Kate prepared to shoot her first commercial for her new product line. Bo's snitch was found dead in a dark alley. Anna was asked to appear in Kate's first commercial shoot. Kayla told Ava it was the pills that have made her sick. Sami and EJ asked John and Marlena for another favor. Joe Penny was cast as Ava's father, Martino Vitali. Chloe slapped Victor.

Week Ending May 9

Nicole appeared ready to testify at the immigration hearing much to Sami's dismay. Max, Morgan, and Stephanie talked about Chelsea's inability to have children. John, Marlena, EJ, Sami, and Roman gathered for the immigration hearing. Phillip asked Max to spy on John. Kayla wanted to know why Ava's father drugged and lied to her. Chelsea told Stephanie that she doesn't love Nick anymore. Nicole admitted she was after money and planned to marry Phillip. Sami and John had a heart to heart talk after they watch the disk. Chelsea broke up with Nick. EJ and Nicole met in an alley and he handed her a pile of money. Sami asked John if he loves Marlena. Nick got drunk at the pub over losing Chelsea and spilled beer all over his grant papers and then left them there. EJ's visa was extended thanks to Sami's testimony. Lexie discharged Ava. Victor told Chelsea the story of Daniel's wife and how she died of cancer. Martino asked Daniel to find out what is wrong with Ava. Daniel told Chelsea he's been thinking about her all night. Max spent all night copying Nick's grant proposal. Chelsea and Daniel kissed. Jealous of Nicole, Sami pulled EJ into a passionate kiss. Bo threatened to kill Martino. Daniel told Chelsea he was attracted to her but they could not be together. Marlena was angry when she discovered Sami told John about his past. John and Marlena discovered the disk was missing. Martino vowed revenge on the Brady family. Abe assigned Hope to the investigation of the murder of Ava's psychiatrist. Marlena accused Rolf of taking the disk. Chelsea confessed to Victor that she's falling in love with Daniel. Nicole was heartbroken that her dog has been poisoned. Daniel planned to leave Salem. Martino met up with an old friend - Kate. Morgan impressed Phillip.

Week Ending May 16

Chelsea told Daniel that she knows about his past. Sami and Nicole were horrified after Sami kissed E.J. E.J. thought Nicole was afraid of never finding true love. Philip got John's mystery disc, only to find it was encrypted. Chloe kissed Philip. Kayla learned she has to stay off her feet for the remainder of her pregnancy. Steve had a mysterious meeting with E.J. Ava asked Angelo why her doctor drugged her. Nick confronted Max. Sami asked Roman to help her visit Lucas in prison. Bo and Hope stopped the gunman from shooting Steve. Ava learned her father ordered a hit on Steve. Kayla went into labor. Sami asked a gym member to spy on Nicole and E.J. Nicole chastised Philip for pursuing a married woman. Chelsea confided in Kate. Bo and Hope accused Martino of ordering a hit on Ava's psychiatrist. Max apologized to Stephanie for his lack of trust. E.J. pulled back as he and Nicole get hot and heavy in the sauna. Sami commiserated with Rolf. Kayla and Steve worried about the baby. Kayla delivered a baby boy, but he was not breathing. Victor wanted to know what Chloe was doing in his house. Philip backed Chloe against Victor. Victor put Philip in charge of the business. E.J. learned that his request to free Lucas had been denied.

Week Ending May 23

Kayla's baby had problems breathing on his own. Nick confronted Max about the changes he made in his grant proposal. Daniel told Chelsea they have gotten too close. Mickey told Lucas there was a possibility he may be released and put under house arrest. EJ questioned the motives behind Sami's display of affection. Kayla woke up to find Ava staring at her. An attractive doctor flirted with Daniel. Lucas was upset when he was told Sami and the twins were living at the DiMera mansion with John. Daniel apologized to Chelsea for kissing her. Max admitted that he fixed Nick's grant papers himself. Lexie and Abe had more problems in their marriage. Lucas was shocked when he found Sami and E.J. in bed. Tony proposed to Anna. Roman talked to Kate about her relationship with Martino. Kayla and Steve worried about their newborn son, who was still in the neonatal intensive care unit. Abe and Lexie met with Dr. Carrington to discuss their problems. Bo and Hope got back to work. Sami insisted to Lucas that this was the first time she slept with E.J.. Chloe tells Philip she thinks they can be friends with benefits. Phillip met a mystery man at the pub. E.J. ran into a distraught Nicole. Ava offered her support to Kayla. Lucas told Sami he was leaving and taking Allie with him. Lexie told Daniel she was worried about her marriage. Morgan stood up to Chloe. Chelsea told Daniel she wants to be more than a friend to him. Word got out about a huge drug bust on the pier.

Week Ending May 30

Roman told John and Marlena that a shipment of John's cargo had been impounded. Sami was forced to admit that though she loves Lucas, she has feelings for EJ. Stephanie worried about Max since he was working on the docks during the drug bust. Abe questioned Philip at the pub. John lashed out at Roman. EJ volunteered to be John's attorney and tried to get him released. Ava made EJ an offer he could not refuse. Chloe was devastated when she gets divorce papers from Brady. John was under arrest for assaulting a police officer and drug trafficking. Sami signed annulment papers in front of Lucas. Phillip kissed Chloe intensely. Kayla refused to leave the hospital until she saw Joe. Nicole fought with Chloe after finding her in bed with Philip. Marlena tried to convince E.J. that Sami and Lucas need privacy, and asked if he thought John was capable of drug trafficking. Phillip was forced to carry Nicole out after a fight with Chloe. Sami asked Lucas for a second chance. Ava and Nicole bonded over finding a man. Dean Robbins awarded Nick the grant money to fund his goal of finding an alternative fuel type. Nick was honored with a celebration at Chez Rouge. Max rushed out of Chez Rouge when he saw Nick with Dean Robbins. E.J. told Nicole that he would not give up on Sami. Steve started putting together baby equipment at his and Kayla's new apartment. EJ told Nicole what happened with Sami and Lucas. Anna asked Kate if she and Roman were getting back together. Ava visited Marlena at the DiMera mansion. Tony and Anna arrived at Chez Rouge while Bo, Hope, Roman and Kate were having dinner. Marlena advised Ava to let go of the past. Stephanie asked Max why he left Nick's celebration. Bo and Hope had dinner with Kate and Roman to toast newlyweds Anna and Tony. Abe interrogated John. Stephanie lashed out at Ava. Steve, Kayla, and Stephanie connected with baby Joe. Marlena visited John in prison and asked if he was innocent. EJ hit on Chloe at the pub and she accepted his offer of a drink.
