Week Ending July 4

Paul went missing. John told EJ that he knows he lied to Sami about the annulment. Trent asked Max to keep their relationship a secret. Sami overheard John's conversation with EJ. Ava urged John to throw away the disk. Morgan thought that something had happened to Paul. Bo and Hope's house was the place for a 4th of July party. Nicole showed up at John's 4th of July party. Chloe insisted she was trying to help Phillip. Phillip comforted Morgan. Doug and Julie found out that Chelsea is seeing an older man. Chloe saw Phillip and Morgan in an embrace. Ava snuck into the lab and took the disk. EJ and Nicole were trapped in an elevator. Marlena showed up at John's party to ask about the disk. Chloe told Phillip they are finished. Doug talked to Bo about Chelsea and Daniel. Lucas overheard Sami admit she still has feelings for EJ. Marlena heard Ava telling John to get rid of the disk. Chloe and Lucas got trapped. Salem celebrated July 4. Lucas made a move on Chloe.

Week Ending July 11

Kate passed out shortly after seeing Daniel and Chelsea kiss. Chloe and Lucas made love at the Salem Inn. Marlena tried to recover the broken pieces of the disk after finding the lab destroyed. Sami took the twins to stay at the Salem Inn during the blackout. Max realized he may have a half-sister. Nicole and EJ's love session was revealed when firefighters pried open the elevator doors and found them naked. Caroline offered up the pub as a refuge. Lucas was arrested for breaking his house arrest. Nicole gave Sami a piece of her mind. Max asked for help finding his biological sister. Chloe blurted out that she slept with Lucas to Phillip. Trent asked Nicole about her relationship with EJ. Bo, Roman, and Abe gave Morgan the letter they found in Paul's suitcase. Lexie brought Theo to the police station to talk to Abe. Sami caught EJ and Nicole together. Lucas refused to tell why he went to the Salem Inn. Phillip asked Chloe why she slept with Lucas. Victor and Nicole signed their final divorce papers. Lucas and Phillip got into a fight. Caroline was with Victor when he collapses. Chelsea was in training to be an occupational therapist. Victor arrived at the hospital with Caroline and Kate. Hope tried to get information out of Lucas, and told him he had broken Sami's heart. Victor had another stroke. Max wrote goodbye notes to Stephanie and Caroline. Kate told Chelsea to stay away from Daniel.

Week Ending July 18

Sami threw a tantrum when she learned about Lucas and Chloe. Daniel told Kate that Victor's condition was not good. Victor asked Bo to look after Philip. Daniel and Kate agreed that Chelsea could never know about their fling. Morgan mentioned a letter. Sami was furious when E.J. would not allow her to leave with Johnny. Morgan and Philip went to pick up the letter. Bo urged Philip to turn the letter over to the police. Philip told Victor he did something that could destroy the family. Stephanie learned that Max lied and went in search of his sister. Max traveled through France by train. Lexie checked on Victor. Kate asked Philip for an update on Victor's condition. Abe told Bo and Hope that Theo had been taken out of school. Ava and John toasted their future. E.J. had a proposal for John. Caroline was moved by the farewell letter Max left. Stephanie told her friends she was going to Europe to help Max. Bo left the recorder with Victor. Kate listened to what's on the recorder. E.J. wanted to work for John. Sami learned that Lucas was being sent to a maximum security facility. Stephanie surprised Max on a train in Europe. Ava and Nicole shared their troubles. Marlena offered Rolf immunity in exchange for repairing the disk.

Week Ending July 25

Lucas was transferred to maximum security. Caroline and Maggie welcomed Kayla and Steve as they brought their baby home. Ava asked John if she could move in with him. Chloe said goodbye to Lucas and told him she was sorry. Kayla and Steve brought baby Joe home. Ava and John made love. Sami showed Ava her apartment. Marlena discovered that E.J. was threatening to sue Sami for custody of Johnny. Kate assured Philip the tape Paul sent to Morgan is gone. Daniel ran into Kate and they reminiscenced about their time together. Bo told Hope he was worried about Victor. While on the train, Stephanie was surprised by a stranger who entered her sleeper car. Stephanie was nearly robbed on the train and attacked the stranger with pepper spray. Marlena and Roman talked about repairing the disk. Morgan was terrified her father is dead. E.J. told Ava the details of her upcoming court case. Tony and Kate shared a celebratory drink. Hope find Bo's behavior troubling and accused him of knowing something more about Paul Hollingsworth's case. Bo questioned Philip about his involvement with Morgan. John promised to help Ava fight the charges against her. Daniel and Chelsea shared a romantic dance under the stars. Bo confessed to Steve that he stole police evidence. Max and Stephanie were ready to get off the train and track down Max's sister. Steve told Bo he was right to cover for Philip. Hope visited Kayla and was thrilled to see the baby at home. Max and Stephanie got closer to finding his sister. Ava's bodyguard tried to shoot Morgan, but hit Phillip instead. Philip received an anonymous letter that says "I know your secret". Morgan demanded John tell her where her father is.

Week Ending August 1

After taking a bullet for Morgan, Philip lay unconscious. Kate was beside herself with worry. Bo and Hope interviewed Morgan at the police station. Ava told John about Judge Fitzpatrick. Phillip needed a blood transfusion. Max ran into a tabloid journalist he had a fling with a few years earlier. E.J. told Nicole he did not want anything to do with Sami. Trent told Nicole he needed to speak with her. Marlena ran into Trent at the Java Cafe. Victor flatlined when Kate told him Phillip was shot. Lucas invited Chloe to the Horton cabin. John revealed that he was responsible for Paul's disappearance and was trying to pin it on Philip. Daniel blamed Kate for sending Victor's blood pressure through the roof. Morgan visited Philip, who was still unconscious, and confessed she's fallen for him. John told Ava that Fitzpatrick had been assigned to her case. Max was approached by a mysterious figure demanding money for Melanie's life. Nick saw pictures of Melanie and could not place where he had seen her. John shared a secret with Ava when he told her he was responsible for Paul's disappearance while Nicole shared one with EJ when she told him she is still married to Trent. Sami and E.J. bonded over family time. Nicole and Chloe found Lucas, badly beaten, at a hospital. Nicole came to E.J. for legal advice. Daniel and Kate talked about their past. Marlena questioned EJ about his feelings for Sami. Hope and Roman went over the e-mail asking what happened to the evidence in the Paul Hollingsworth case. Max got a warning about Melanie. Daniel lashed out at Kate in front of a stunned Chelsea. Philip revealed that he heard Morgan's confession of love while he was unconscious. Maggie found Chloe doting on Lucas in the hospital. Sami rushed to Lucas' bedside. John was hiding Paul.
