Week Ending January 5

Billie turned to an old habit for comfort - drinking. Roman asked Sami what she saw while she was trying to get a ride to the hospital. Steve downplayed his reaction to the Tarot card. Marlena was furious with John. Abe reassured Lexie. Chelsea asked Maggie for a job. Nick went to tell Chelsea the truth. Nick told Billie that he is a virgin. Willow and Chelsea had a confrontation over a waitressing job at Chez Rouge. Sami and Lucas were reunited at the hospital. Chelsea got fired. Sami kept lying about saving Lucas all by herself. Lexie asked Tek if he was sure that EJ shot John. Abe told Max and Mimi that the skeleton was not from the Civil War. Billie and Nick ended up in bed together after they get drunk. Patrick (Brody Hutzler) last aired when Patrick was sent to prison. Bo and Shawn bonded. Bo and Hope celebrated their baby's birth. John survived surgery but was in critical condition. Chelsea almost caught Nick and Billie in bed together. Mimi and Bonnie visited Patrick in jail. Belle got suspicious of Beverly. Shawn and Belle got closer. Max and Mimi learned shocking news about the skeleton. Marlena refused to accept what the doctor's tell her about John. A photographer made pictures of Mimi taking Claire for a walk. Bonnie called and asked Connor to come to Salem, but found out he had been arrested. Marlena watched over John. Abby interrupted an intimate moment between Max and Mimi. Steve collapsed. Shawn and Claire interrupted Max and Mimi. Bo and Hope could not pick a baby name. Shawn and Belle had to turn Claire over to Beverly (child services) in a deal arranged by Victor. Even in his coma John reacted to Steve's voice. Shawn met his new baby sister. Bo and Hope decided to hold a baby naming contest. Mimi had a personal connection to the skeleton she and Max found.

Week Ending January 12

Mimi's brother Connor (played by Noah Segan) joined the show. Bo and Steve learned that Claire was being turned over to a foster family until after the hearing. Sami suggested that Chelsea and Billie move into Lucas' old apartment. Bo and Steve confronted Beverly. Victor offered Shawn and Belle a deal. Nick told Abby that he gave Chelsea the name of her online admirer. Steve lost control. Hope wondered if Kayla wants to have more children. Beverly called the cops on Steve. Kayla got a lawyer to help Shawn and Belle. Hope asked Kayla if she wants more kids. Nick lashed out at Chelsea. Billie told Chelsea they were moving into their own apartment. Lexie was asked to identify a killer. Stephanie shared a new job opportunity with Steve and Kayla. Lexie tried to indentify EJ as John's shooter. Abby guessed that Nick slept with Billie. Billie confessed to Bo that she fell off the wagon. Mimi stayed with Max. Roman took Marlena back to the penthouse. Bonnie and Connor snuck into the morgue. Marlena heard John's voice on the balcony and nearly fell off. Belle cried at John's bedside. Shawn interrupted Max and Mimi's intimate moment. Jay Kenneth Johnson returned to the role of Phillip. Shawn and Belle found out who gets custody of Claire. Hope tried to comfort Marlena. Willow betrayed Shawn in court. Mimi and Max supported Shawn and Belle. Abe found out the bones had been stolen. Bonnie and Connor hid the bones. Nick stood up to Chelsea. John's fingers moved in front of Belle. Nick misled Chelsea about her online admirer.

Week Ending January 19

Phillip's new identity was revealed. Abby thought that Nick should stop leading Chelsea on. Phillip was awarded custody of Claire for 90 days while Shawn and Belle were ordered to take parenting classes. Sami got an award for saving Lucas and Kate stormed out. Chelsea wanted Abby to convince Max to hire her. Willow confessed to Shawn that Victor bribed her. Kate did not want Lucas to trust Sami. Maggie tried to convince Phillip not to take Claire from Shawn and Belle. Mimi tried to reason with Phillip and found a passport for Claire. Marlena decided John needs more care than she can provide. Shawn and Belle intended to kidnap Claire from foster care with Max and Mimi's help. Stephanie bid goodbye to Steve. Steve had another episode. Steve's pain caused him to trash the hotel suite where he lives with Kayla. Nick was hurt by Chelsea's words online about the friend who helped her find Lonely Splicer's identity. Steve persuaded Bo to hire him at the police department. Stephanie told Kayla goodbye (Shayna Rose last aired). Sami got a disturbing call from EJ and he told her to keep her mouth shut and Lucas overheard part of it, Sami confessed it was EJ and she and Lucas made love. Steve found EJ in Mexico and stole his wallet and cell phone. Mimi, Max,Shawn, and Belle kidnapped Claire from the hospital after Mimi found out about Phillip's plan to take Claire out of the country. Phillip stormed into the pub during Sami's award ceremony. Steve tried to get EJ to go back to Salem and when that did not work he faked a seizure. Chelsea decided to try and be a good person for her online boyfriend.

Week Ending January 26

Belle and Shawn hid out from Phillip in an abandoned church. Abe realized that Lexie lied to him about John. Max told Belle and Shawn that Victor had called the police. Abe kicked Lexie out when he realized she lied about seeing John get shot. Phillip forced Mimi to tell him where Shawn and Belle are. Lexie and Tek went missing after a car crash. Steve told Bo that EJ planned to return to Salem. Lexie (Renee Jones) and Tek (Rhasson Orange) exited the show. Steve stole a delivery truck to haul Shawn and Belle to Canada. Lucas declared his love for Sami. Lucas also found out that Tek and Lexie are missing. Marlena dreamed about John. Sami found out she is pregnant and told Lucas. Phillip wanted to know what Roman was doing to find Claire and accused Roman of having it in for the Kiriakis family. Sami was reduced to tears after another call from EJ. Steve drove Shawn, Belle, and Claire to Canada. Chelsea took Abby and Nick out to dinner to apologize for what she said. Mimi threatened to call the police unless her mother told all after she found the stolen bones. Roman told Sami and Lucas that EJ had turned himself in. Billie apologized to Nick. EJ returned to town. Lucas got a call from Victor. Mimi told Connor that the bones belonged to their father. Sami confronted EJ face to face and asked him about Lexie and Tek's disappearance. Belle and Shawn made it to Canada but realized they needed to go another country after they go to a safe house in Toronto. Victor ordered Lucas to Toronto and fired him when he refused to go. Abby and Chelsea found out they had been accepted to Salem U. Sami lied to EJ about being pregnant. Phillip found out where Shawn and Belle were keeping Claire. Sami got morning sickness. Marlena dreamed about a warning from John. Chelsea pressured Nick to find her a job.
