Week Ending January 6

Mimi was shocked by Shawn's proposal. Chelsea called Bo after another car mishap. Hope found Zach's slipper in the street and then discovered his body after he had been hit by a car. Alex escaped jail to help Marlena, but John shot him as he entered Marlena's room. Lois stalked Marlena with a pair of scissors. Hope took Zach to the emergency room. Chelsea asked Bo to keep quiet about her accident as Bo, Max and Chelsea all thought she had hit a pothole. Victor urged Kate to tell the truth about Claire. Mimi told Bonnie that Shawn proposed. Lexie got Zach ready for surgery. The police gathered evidence at the hit and run scene. Caroline and Alice came to support Phillip and Belle. Lucas and Eugenia got suspicious of Sami. Marlena comforted Belle. Jennifer and Frankie barely avoided an intimate moment. Bo and Hope leaned on their loved ones as Zach had surgery. Lois kept stalking Marlena. Sami listened in on Austin and Carrie's conversation. Nicole finalized plans for the takeover and planned to win Austin back. Lucas and Sami believed that Austin and Carrie's relationship would be short lived. Lexie told Bo and Hope that Zach was brain dead.

Week Ending January 13

Bo and Hope were devastated by Zach's condition. Lexie told Hope that Zach was on artificial respiration. Chelsea told Max how angry she was about the driver of the car. The police were reluctant to tell Bo the truth. John showed Marlena her office. Lexie asked Bo and Hope if they could take Zach's organs. The police got ready to tell Bo it was his car that hit Zach. Chelsea was devastated by Zach's death. Mimi supported Shawn. Lexie told Phillip and Belle that they have an organ donor for Claire. Sami dreamed of Austin and sleepwalks into Lucas' bedroom. Sami and Lucas ended up in bed together and made love. Hope broke down as Zach was prepared for organ harvest surgery. Chelsea started to think she could have been the one to hit Zach. Phillip and Belle found out that Zach was the organ donor. Bo learned that Chelsea was the one that hit Zach. Chelsea begged Max to run away with her. Bo and Hope got news from the police about Zack's hit and run case. Chelsea told Max she may have been the one to hit Zach. The police asked Bo if he loaned his car to anyone. Bonnie told Mimi to stay by Shawn's side. Abe supported Lexie. Carrie and Austin enjoyed their rediscovered love. Max got questioned by the police. Bo's car was impounded. Bo was torn between turning in Chelsea and facing Hope. Belle and Shawn were stunned to see Zach. Lois tried to kill Alex in the ICU. Shawn lashed out at God. Lois admitted that she was once in love with Alex. Lois still wanted to kill Marlena but her plans were thwarted. Alex was in a coma and not able to warn Abe or John about Lois. Frankie found a DVD that Jack left behind. Salem mourned Zach.

Week Ending January 20

Billie was devastated by the news about Zach and Chelsea. Billie took the blame for hitting Zach to cover for Chelsea. Belle and Shawn had the same dream when Zach appeared to both of them. Claire started to recover. Lois knocked out Marlena and started to take her to the roof. A grateful Chelsea watched Billie confess to the police. Hope demanded to know who killed her son. Phillip, Kate, and Mimi were shocked to hear about Shawn and Belle's shared dream. Austin took over High Style. Jennifer watched Jack's DVD. Jennifer confronted Frankie over the DVD that Jack left behind. Frankie admitted his feelings for Jennifer. Lexie kept Hope sedated. Billie was determined to take the blame for Chelsea. Austin tried to celebrate his victory with Carrie. Lois tried to throw Marlena off the roof. Alex rescued Marlena from Lois. Hope blasted Billie. Bo tried to get Billie to tell the truth. Max asked Abby to try and get Chelsea to stop letting Billie take the blame. Frankie decided to leave town. Phillip learned of Shawn and Mimi's engagement. John misunderstood the situation. Austin finally figured out that High Style is Carrie's company. Carrie planned to go back to LA to try and stop the takeover. Kate vowed to keep the truth from Shawn. Carrie was crushed when Austin confessed his part in the takeover. Marlena kept John from throwing Alex off the roof. Shawn was wary of Kate's honeymoon offer. Bo was torn between Hope and Chelsea. Kate spilled to Belle about Shawn and Mimi's engagement. Lois and Marlena came to blows. Mimi told Kate that she and Shawn are engaged. Jennifer was upset when Frankie shared Jack's dying wishes. Week Ending January 27

Patrick showed up after seeing Billie's confession in the paper. Chelsea worried that people would learn the truth. Hope was overwhelmed by her grief. Carrie realized Austin took over her company. Jennifer asked Frankie to stay in Salem. Bo tried to comfort Hope. The Horton women supported Hope. Kate headed to the police station. Billie confessed the truth to Kate. Abby and Max wanted Chelsea to tell the truth. Austin tried to reverse the takeover, but it was too late. Sami was overjoyed. Bo visited Billie in jail and demanded that she tell the truth. Jennifer tried to support Hope. Hope discovered Bo embracing Billie at the police station. Patrick was determined to find the truth. Alex agreed to Marlena's suggestion that they renew their wedding vows. Patrick, who has no idea that Billie falsely confessed to hitting Zach, found a lead that could clear her. Chelsea worried as Patrick looked for evidence. Max told Chelsea that she has to confess. Chelsea told Hope that she was sorry about Zach. Austin defended his position to Lucas. Sami undermined Austin's attempt to protest his innocence to Carrie. Alex paid a visit to Lois and he kissed her. Claire was taken off life support. Chelsea had a breakdown and it prevented Bo from telling Hope the truth. Hope told Bo that Chelsea needed him now. Patrick thought he had found a way to prove Billie was innocent. Lois made the point that Kate still loves John. Carrie thought that she could finally trust Sami again. Austin tried to make things right with Carrie and her company. Bo demanded that Billie and Chelsea tell the truth, but could not force the issue. Lucas and Sami were secretly thrilled their plans worked. Sami asked for Carrie's blessing to go after Austin. Shawn asked Phillip to be his best man. Bonnie kept scheming to keep Shawn clueless about Claire's patermity. Patrick and Billie confessed their feelings. John told Kate that he feared he has lost Marlena forever. Carrie told Austin that he had ruined her life. Roman told Billie that he knows the truth about the accident and Billie told him he has to keep quiet. Patrick interrogated Chelsea.
