Week Ending December 5

Sandra Robinson (ex Amanda-AW) joined the show as Dr. Taylor, John's therapist. Marlena informed Brady that John had consented to one therapy session. Lucas proposed to Chloe. Brady learned the truth about Nicole's pregnancy. Dr. Baker told Nicole she would never have another child. John was upset that Marlena told Brady about his therapy. EJ tried to get the truth from Dr. Baker. Nicole begged Brady to keep her secret. Kate learned her cancer had spread and that she needed a bone marrow transplant. Chloe accepted Lucas' marriage proposal and then found out about Kate's relapse. Maggie noticed that Melanie was not happy about Phillip and Stephanie. Nicole told EJ that Brady was only asking for her help with John. Dr. Baker wanted to tell EJ the truth. Melanie received a visit from her new boss and she was overwhelmed by the tasks she would have to do. Nicole agreed to let Dr. Baker tell EJ the whole truth. Rafe found the medal that Sister Theresa gave Sami. Bo gave Max something from Trent. Stephanie kissed Phillip. Melanie's new job was news to Stephanie. Nicole kept up her pregnancy charade but people were starting to catch on. Stefano told EJ that Nicole was in the hospital. John warmed up to his new doctor and agreed to participate in therapy sessions. Sami was determined to make contact with Sister Theresa, alone. Dr. Taylor explained that her father died recently and she had taken over the practice. Sami was stopped from making contact with Sister Theresa alone and Rafe would not leave her side. Steve and Kayla planned a romantic evening. Sami found out that Rafe had a connection to the convent. Kate's condition worsened and her family members were tested to see if they could donate bone marrow. Steve and Kayla tried to enjoy a romantic evening. Melanie wanted to prove her worth at Titan. Phillip got support from Stephanie. Kayla and Steve recognized Stephanie's feelings for Philip. Melanie worried about Phillip when Maggie told her that Kate's cancer has spread. Kayla and Steve's romantic evening was interrupted. Marlena found out that Charlotte was her mentor's daughter. Charlotte opened her practice next to Marlena. Daniel gave Kate a Christmas ornament. Rafe arranged for Hilda to bring a Christmas tree to Sami. Hilda and Sami bonded. Chloe turned out to be a match for Kate. Stefano said he had an OB/GYN coming to Salem. Nicole began to panic. Rafe spied Nicole readjusting her belly. Rafe went to the DiMera mansion. Rafe got Hilda to bring Sami new photos of her kids. Lucas told Kate about his proposal. Chloe wanted to donate bone marrow to Kate even though it could be dangerous. Sami warmed up to Rafe.

Week Ending December 12

Brady stumbled upon some drugs in the park, and John seemed to think that they were Brady's. Sami made a Christmas wish she did not think could come true, Rafe nearly discovered Nicole's secret while in her room at the DiMera mansion. EJ and Stefano nearly met their ends when some business associates tried to double-cross them over diamonds. At the Cheatin' Heart, Nicole got inspiration from Max on how to keep up her ruse, but she appeared to be thwarted by Brady. Stefano and EJ realized someone broke into the mansion. Rafe and Sami bonded while trimming the Christmas tree. Brady realized that Nicole plans to adopt a baby and keep her miscarriage from EJ. Chloe and Lucas spent time at the pier until Chloe dropped her engagement ring into the water. Nicole used Brady's old drug habits to her advantage and tried to score cocaine from Brick. Stefano counseled EJ that the first thing he must do to protect his family is to make things legal with Nicole. While Sami and Rafe were trimming the tree, the phone rings. Sami talked to Roman and was stunned when he put EJ on. Melanie promised Max she would visit Nick in jail. Nicole told Brady the truth. E.J. told Nicole that he loves her. EJ called Sami and told her good-bye. Nicole nearly drugged Brady in order to discredit him. Nicole came clean with Brady and made him understand why she was doing all of this for EJ. Nicole went home, and EJ told her about his conversation with Stefano. Lucas told Kate how lucky they are that Chloe was going through with the bone-marrow transplant. Daniel and Chloe experienced an electric moment...Chloe was flushed with desire. John told Dr. Taylor that he trusts her Melanie had a difficult first day at Titan. Chloe was readied for her bone-marrow transplant. Daniel feared the procedure would be called off, but Chloe got her emotions under control and shared an intimate moment with Lucas, and was wheeled off to surgery. Marlena was shocked to learn that she was now sharing her office waiting area with Dr. Charlotte Taylor. Marlena spoke with Kayla, who thought Marlena was jealous. Melanie locked Stephanie in the vault, but Philip was also in there, and the two nearly kissed. Sami convinced Rafe to go shopping for her and he ended up in danger from the kiler. Tony discovered that E.J. was being groomed to take over the family. Bo fell off a ladder. Nicole found an ad for a woman who was looking for a home for her unborn child. Nicole told Brady about the ad and reluctantly agreed to join Nicole at the meeting. Tony warned EJ about trusting Stefano. Nicole met with a pregnant woman. Philip asked Stephanie out on a date, but Stephanie said no. While Rafe was out shopping, the killer spotted him, and during a heated fight, the killer ended up stabbing Rafe. Brady spied Nicole's surrogate mom Kelly drinking and smoking at the Cheatin Heart.

Week Ending December 19

Brady warned Nicole that she needed to tell EJ the truth. Lexie broke down. Bo was knocked unconscious after his fall. Nicole accused Brady of lying to her about his claim that Kelly is a scam artist. Kelly acknowledged the scam, revealed she's not pregnant, and took off. Nicole told Brady she was going to get a baby, with or without his help. Sami worried about where Rafe was, unaware that he was fighting off the mayor's killer, who had stabbed him. When Lexie, Abe and Theo were at the Brady pub, Theo pointed to a wrapped gift, saying, "I want." Lexie was over the moon. Sami and Rafe's relationship started to change. Stephanie admitted her mistakes. Daniel had a dream about Chloe. Rafe awakened to find Sami watching him. Rafe took control to make sure they are safe, but also realized he perhaps said more than he intended. While Philip recalled his "almost" kiss with Stephanie, Max confronted her about her "public" display at Titan. A furious Stephanie realized Melanie was behind it. Stephanie met up with Philip and it was clear both were ready to take things to a new level, but they were interrupted by Melanie. When Lucas brought Chloe her ring, she remained troubled. Sami stitched up Rafe's stab wound. Nick swore he was not obsessed with Melanie anymore. EJ found Stefano calling Dr.Heismann, recalling him to Salem. EJ told Stefano he and Nicole he would take care of their child without Stefano's interference. Nicole went to Dr. Baker and asked him to pretend to be her obstetrician. Dr. Baker refused, unmoved by Nicole's pleas. Stephanie accused Melanie of being jealous of her relationship with Philip, Melanie implied she and Philip slept together. Chelsea, with Theo, found Max at the pier, contemplating whether to throw his toy dog into the water. Nicole's new doctor decided to blackmail her for 750,000 dollars. Nicole feared her miscarriage was about to be revealed. Dr Charlotte Taylor frustrated John. Stephanie and Philip shared their first kiss. Melanie found Victor at the pub. Nicole tried every argument she could to get EJ to let her see Dr. Baker as her obstetrician. EJ finally consented. Nicole's hopes were dashed, however, when she realized she would not have access to the money in the immediate future. Sami and Rafe continued to bond. Max gave Theo the toy dog that Trent left him. Sami overheard Rafe calling his supervisor and offering to take Hilda's Christmas shift guarding Sami. Nicole told Brady she was not telling EJ the truth. Philip told Melanie to go hawk her patents elsewhere and fired her. John was getting frustrated by Dr. Charlotte Taylor. EJ assured Nicole they would get through her pregnancy together. Victor accused Phillip of putting his personal feelings before business when he fired Melanie. Dr Baker asked Nicole for his money. Lucas' car broke down and Daniel visited Chloe finding her waiting for Lucas. Stephanie encouraged Philip to reconcile with his father. Melanie saw Stephanie and Philip kissing under the mistletoe. Kate asked Daniel to bring a gift to Chloe and Lucas at the Horton cabin. Sami had a nasty fall in the loft. Lexie and EJ argued about the family. Melanie visited Nick and he gave her his share of the potential profits from his alternative fuels project. Rafe thought he had become a liability in protecting Sami. EJ wanted to snuggle and Nicole had to put him off. EJ reassured Nicole that he is there for her and their baby. Nicole gave in, they kissed, and EJ felt her padding, but suspected nothing. Philip quit and Victor laid into him for acting emotionally over the alternative fuel project. Stephanie encouraged Phillip to make amends with Victor. Victor allowed Philip to come back, but Philip demanded to be in charge.

Week Ending December 26

Nicole asked Brady for a million dollars. Victor talked to E.J. about Nicole. Chelsea and Max visited Kate at the hospital. Victor offered Brady a job. Dr. Baker gave Nicole an ultimatum. Chloe accidentally injured Daniel. Sami wanted Rafe to help her give her baby to the nun. Nicole met a pregnant teen named Jill. Bo realized who his visions were about. Melanie heard Philip tell Stephanie that he had a Christmas surprise. Daniel and Chloe tried to keep their distance. Bo told Hope about his flashes and she surmised they were about Zack. Philip was blindsided by Brady's answer to Victor. Daniel shared good news about Kate's recovery. Tension mounted between Daniel and Chloe. EJ admitted that he misses Sami. Hope, Bo, and Chelsea bonded over Zach and put the past to rest. Abe and Lexie looked for Theo. Daniel could not stop thinking about Chloe. Stefano had a get together. Nicole and Brady argued. Daniel had good news for Kate. Theo went missing on Christmas Eve. Maggie gave Chloe a Horton Christmas ornament that she dropped and broke. Brady and Nicole argued. John and Phillip had Christmas surprises for loved ones. Victor had a warning for EJ. Kate gave Chloe a diamond necklace from Bill Horton. Bo used his visions to locate a lost Theo but still felt that something bad was going to happen to him. Chelsea tried to ease the tension between Stephanie and Max. Brady and Philip called a truce. Chloe and Daniel tried to avoid each other. The Carvers spent Christmas morning at Hope and Bo's house. The Bradys gathered at the pub on Christmas morning. Theo gave Lexie a gift he made himself. Stephanie admitted that she would have a problem with Max moving on with Chelsea. Rafe tried to cheer Sami up with a Mexican Christmas. Doug dressed as Santa to read the Christmas story to the kids in the hospital. Rafe and Sami shared a special Christmas. Marlena brought John to the Horton's and he decided he needed to remember now so he called Dr. Taylor. Nicole fantasized about killing Dr. Baker. Chloe and Lucas made love but she thought about Daniel. Roman and Marlena realized E.J. still had feelings for Sami. Philip and Brady confronted Victor. Chloe kissed Daniel on the cheek. Max confronted Melanie about her assumptions regarding him and Chelsea. Victor fired Brady and Philip. Chelsea and Max talked about their friendship. The killer pinpointed Rafe's location.

Week Ending January 2

Nicole bonded with a pregnant teen and went to the clinic demanding a baby. The killer tried to trace Rafe's cell phone. Melanie became angry at Philip ran into Julie and overheard a conversation. Stephanie had an unsettling chat with Chloe. Rafe insisted that Sami not see Sister Theresa again. Brady and Philip disagreed on how to handle Melanie at work. Philip invited Stephanie to a New Year's Eve party. Chloe warned Brady about Nicole. Nicole failed to get a baby through Dr. Baker. Kate learned that Daniel is no longer Chloe's doctor. Charlotte recommended putting John under hypnosis. John overheard a conversation between Charlotte and Marlena. Stefano warned EJ against Nicole. Nicole blasted Dr. Baker. Kate urged Lucas to move up his wedding date. Chloe tried to avoid Daniel at the hospital. Tony comforted Marlena, who was upset about John walking out on her. Nicole demanded that Dr. Baker find a baby for her. EJ made plans to propose to Nicole. Kate questioned Daniel. Nicole told Chloe not to tell Lucas the truth. Chloe ran into Daniel. John joined Marlena and Charlotte. Max and Chelsea kissed and then Chelsea ran away. Melanie arranged for some time alone with Philip. An emergency caused Nicole to miss an opportunity. Dr. Baker gave Nicole some good news. Chloe and Daniel had another almost kiss. As Nicole was ready to confess everything, EJ proposed. Brady went in search of missing Nicole. Chloe celebrated New Year's Eve with Lucas at Chez Rouge. Rafe told Sami he was happy to spend New Year's Eve with her. Philip kissed Stephanie angering Melanie. Daniel took Chloe to the hospital. Rafe let Sami know that he was aware of her plans for her baby. John and Marlena shared New Year's Eve at Chez Rouge.
