Week Ending December 2

Frankie, Patrick and Bo searched for Jack in the river. Jack tried to make a deal with God. Marlena told Alex she had made her decision to be with him. Belle blamed herself for Claire's illness. Phillip tried to reassure Belle. John tried to change Marlena's mind. Kate found out a secret. Patrick saved Bo as he was caught under debris in the river. Chelsea comforted Abby. Belle was upset to learn her parents were separating. Bo, Hope and Frankie tried to comfort Jennifer and Abby as Jack's car was raised from the river. Lucas prepared to take over High Style and was shocked to see that the CEO was none other than Carrie. Sami and Nicole argued about Austin's plans for the company. Jennifer refused to give up on Jack. Sami learned that Austin has feelings for Carrie still. Bo and Hope left Jennifer in Frankie's care. Phillip confided in Victor. Sami wanted Austin to fire Nicole.

Week Ending December 9

Jennifer was convinced that Jack was not dead, which worried Abby. Shawn told Hope and Bo about Claire's illness. Kate watched Shawn with Mimi and then offered Mimi a job at Basic black. Claire took a turn for the worse. Jennifer's friends and family tried to get her to accept the truth about Jack. Frankie promised to be there for Jennifer. Claire's condition stabilized. Lucas continued his visit with Carrie. Belle and Phillip worried over Claire. Kate tried to console Belle. Mimi and Shawn prayed in the chapel for Claire. Eugenia told Lucas about Jack's death. Sami and Austin argued about Carrie. Lucas told Kate he was interested in someone other than Sami as Austin told Kate about the woman he is interested in. Sami asked Austin how he felt about Carrie. Belle worried that Claire may die. Marlena and John got closer as they supported Belle. Phillip told Belle they could not give up hope. Nicole went snooping in Carrie's LA office, but ran into trouble with a woman named Becky. Lucas helped Carrie wrap gifts for her employees. Kate altered the hospital records. Jennifer went out to cover the roses and she asked Frankie to go back to New York. Austin and Sami headed to LA where they ended up at a restaurant with Lucas and Carrie. Lucas promised not to tell anyone back in Salem about Carrie. Kate vowed to keep Claire's paternity a secret and to get Shawn and Mimi together permanently. Shawn got suspicious of Kate. Carrie remembered happy times with Austin. Roman had some news for Jennifer. Kate freaked when Shawn donated blood for Claire and it was a match.

Week Ending December 16

Kate told Victor the truth about Claire and he wanted her to come clean with Phillip and Belle. Lucas and Carrie had dinner at the same restaurant as Sami and Austin. Nicole got possession of some important papers at High Style. Frankie told Hope he was leaving town. Jennifer continued to believe that Jack is alive. Lucas and Nicole had a confrontation at the restaurant. Carrie overheard Sami talking to herself about Austin and Lucas. Shawn stayed with Belle at the hospital. Lexie told Belle that Claire's kidneys were shutting down. John took Kate out to dinner. Carrie told Lucas that she still has feelings for Austin. Bo and Hope decorated their Christmas trees and hung the stockings including one for Chelsea. Father Jansen was called to give Claire last rites. Marlena thought she should have done more for Belle. Chelsea saw the stocking that Hope had bought for her. Austin and Sami won tickets to the Rolling Stones. Austin, Sami, Carrie, and Lucas went to the Rolling Stones concert. Bo saw Max and Chelsea kissing. Bonnie told Mimi to keep Shawn away from Belle. Marlena responded to a kiss from John. Frankie decided to stay in Salem. Austin entered a charity kissing contest and kissed Sami which Carrie saw. Hope wondered if Jack's ghost was walking around Salem. Chelsea ended up in a serious car accident.

Week Ending December 23

Chelsea was rushed to the hospital. Mimi made Shawn get some rest. Bonnie worried over Mimi's research into Shawn's blood type matching Claire's. Carrie saw Austin at the concert from a distance and he saw her on the big screen, but they never met. Sami told Austin that Carrie was still in Israel with Mike. Bo and Hope rushed to Chelsea's side and she apologized to Bo for her reckless driving. Jennifer decided to hold a memorial service for Jack. Austin told Nicole that he thought he saw Carrie at the concert. Lucas saw Sami trying to take $100 from the sidewalk Santa's collection cup. Chelsea was angry with Bo and Hope. John found someone who attended college with Alex and Marlena who claimed Alex was an abusive husband. Frankie got ready to leave town, but Bo tried to get him to change his mind. Bo and Hope took Zack to see Santa. Austin called High Style and warned of the hostile takeover. Phillip and Belle learned that Claire needs a liver transplant. Jennifer did not want to go to the Horton tree trimming, but Bo, Hope, and Abby tried to get her to change her mind. Jennifer confided in Mickey. Marlena and Alex appeared to have left town. Shawn read the Christmas story to the kids in the pediatric ward. The Horton family gathered to hang the traditional tree ornaments. Someone watched through the window as Jennifer hung Jack's ornament. Lucas kissed someone unexpected under the mistletoe. Carrie refused to admit her feelings for Austin.

Week Ending December 30

John, Roman, and Kate headed to Alex's cabin to save Marlena, but she insisted that Alex had saved her life. Claire's condition got worse. Bo arranged a family photo and Shawn insisted that Mimi be a part of it. Lucas and Sami argued. Jack watched Jennifer from the bushes and then disappeared. Marlena was unhappy with John's accusations against Marlena. Jennifer wanted Frankie to leave town, but he slipped on some ice and broke his leg, so he couldn't leave. Carrie told Roman about her feelings for Austin as Austin confided in Kate. Dr. Lois Banks revealed that Alex and Marlena had a shaky marriage. Lucas and Sami realized they could not prevent Austin and Carrie's reunion. Sami found out that Carrie is CEO of High Style. Alex was arresting for attacking Lois. Alex told John and Roman that Lois is a threat to Marlena. Kate was shocked to learn of Lucas' feelings for Carrie and he told her to mind her own business. Austin and Carrie remembered old times. Chelsea got into another accident. Shawn proposed to Mimi. Lexie told Belle and Phillip they should consider removing Claire from life support, but Belle was convinced that Claire would receive a miracle. Kate ensured that Victor kept quiet about Claire's true paternity. Sami threw a New Year's Eve party that included Austin, Carrie, Eugenia, Nicole, and Lucas. Bo helped Chelsea. Carrie found out that Austin was the one trying to take over her company.
