Week Ending December 5 Roman arrested Kate for Cassie's murder but vowed to clear her name. After some pushing from Sami and a seance with Celeste, Roman had his doubts about John. Jan continued to stalk Shawn. Victor continued to work to get Chloe back in Salem. Marlena started to doubt John in secret. Week Ending December 12 Sami and Lucas shared another kiss. Sami kept up her quest to get her parents back together. Jan continued to follow Shawn all over town. Kate wanted Victor to get rid of Sami. Sami was confronted by the killer after she planted evidence on Kate's work computer Week Ending December 19 Lucas pretended to be the killer to get back at Sami for trying to set Kate up. Belle returned to Salem and was reunited with Shawn as Jan lurked in the shadows. Bo got another message from the killer. Sami was attacked by the real killer and Lucas and Kate were cleared as suspects. Shawn realized Rex is not the killer. Mimi and Bonnie were in the killer's path. Week Ending December 26 Jennifer found out that she is pregnant with Jack's child. Sami still vowed to stop Roman from marrying Kate. Chloe came back to celebrate the holidays with Brady. Roman and Kate planned to be married on New Year's Eve. Jan continued to plot against Belle. Sami and Lucas continued to fight their attraction to each other.
