Week Ending August 7

Sami learned that Chloe is in a coma. Stefano convinced Meredith to tell Sami the truth about Emily's death. Lucas thought Daniel was trying to frame Kate. Nicole and Brady bonded over Chloe. Kate tormented Chloe. Meredith wrote a letter to Sami. Rafe comforted Sami when she found out about Chloe's condition. Lucas told Daniel about the scarf found in his apartment. Daniel begged Lucas to keep Kate away from Chloe. Victor agreed to let Kate stay at the mansion for Phillips' sake. Nicole asked Stefano to leave Rafe alone. Daniel had nightmares about losing Chloe. Kate tormented a comatose Chloe. Lucas confronted Kate. Victor got Daniel out of jail. One of Phillip's men was shot in the line of duty and he was tormented about it. Stefano told Meredith she must tell Sami the truth about Emily and Rafe. Hope questioned Kate. Arianna almost got caught with drugs. Bo questioned Philip after one of his men, Carlo, got shot. Carlo's widow confronted Phillip. Arianna was nearly caught with drugs. Nathan got turned down by Melanie. Lucas wondered if he could forgive Chloe. E.J. visited Grace's grave. Arianna kept a secret from Brady. Kate was shaken by her attraction to Daniel. Stephanie encouraged Phillip to open up about his employees death. Nathan and Stephanie enjoyed an evening out. Bob told Arianna that Brady would be trouble. Daniel told Lucas that when Chloe woke up she would choose him, Daniel. Nicole told Sami that E.J. changed Grace's headstone. Stefano said goodbye to Meredith (Rachel Kimsey last aired). Mia made a revelation to Will when she told him she is not a virgin. Melanie asked Nathan for another chance. Chad and Kinsey worked on their plan to break up Mia and Will. Stephanie had a conversation with Roman. Abe and Lexie got good news about Theo. Kinsey told Will she needed help with her divorcing parents. Kate and Lucas reconciled after he chose to believe her. Chloe's health worsened. Sami read a revealing letter from Meredith. Will was shocked by Mia's revelation about her virginity and Chad. Sami had some questions for Rafe after reading the letter. Mia ran out on Will after spilling her secret. Nicole and E.J. argued and he demanded she explain her odd behavior. Mia overheard Will and his friend Tad talking about how Kinsey sleeps around. Will told Mia he loves her and kissed her. Rafe stormed out after an argument with Sami.

Week Ending August 14

Sami poured her heart out to Nicole about Rafe leaving her. Rafe told Arianna he was leaving town, but would not tell her why he and Sami broke up. Wally Kurth returned to the show as Justin Kiriakis (to defend Daniel) Daniel tried to see Chloe. Lucas confronted Maggie about lying to him about Chloe and Daniel's affair. Bo and Hope were removed from Daniel's case. Will learned that Chad transferred to Salem High. Dr. Baker phoned Nicole and asked for more money. Ciara was lured away from the carnival by a stranger. EJ confessed his feelings for Sami to Lexie. Nicole told Stefano she needed more money to pay off Dr. Baker. Chloe's tests revealed brief brain activity. Melanie stormed out on Nathan when Stephanie crashed their date. Bo found Ciara's teddy bear in the forest. Phillip was stunned by Victor's reaction to Carlo's death.

Week Ending August 21

Bo sends out a frantic search for Ciara. Brady and Arianna's date gets interrupted. Philip decides to be his own man. Hope and Bo find Ciara's teddy bear in the forest. Daniel is determined to save Chloe. Philip confronts Victor. Bo has a new vision of Ciara. Stephanie and Nathan go to the carnival. A ransom note arrives in connection with Ciara's kidnapping, so Justin asks Victor for the money. Daniel asks Brady to help him save Chloe. Philip tries to tell Stephanie some good news, but finds her with Nathan at the carnival and attacks him. Bo and Hope learn Ciara took candy from a stranger at her birthday party. Daniel and Kate have a heated exchange on the pier. Brady deals with his temptations. Victor and Jason decide to provide the ransom money. Philip tries to convince Melanie that he really does care about her. Victor tells Stephanie about Ciara's kidnapping. Hope breaks down in Justin's arms. Philip convinces Melanie she is not a rebound and they wind up at a motel. Brady contemplates calling the police after finding cocaine at the Pub. Victor accuses Stephanie of two-timing Philip. Stefano vows to protect Sydney's identity. Hope decides to bring the ransom money alone. Philip and Melanie continue their relationship. Kate confronts Daniel about Chloe. Hope and Bo wait for another call from the kidnapper. Stephanie makes an admission to Nathan. Daniel and Kate have a heated exchange. Lucas finds Chloe's living will. Kate and Daniel run into each other on the pier and have a heated argument. Hope receives the ransom instructions. Stephanie tracks down Philip and tells him how much she loves him. Lucas informs Nathan that he found Chloe's living will. Bo warns Hope after getting a vision. Melanie walks in on Stephanie and Philip. Chloe's life is in Lucas' hands. Bo tells the kidnappers there will be no ransom. Dr. Baker loses all of his money. Bo fears for Ciara's life. Philip asks Melanie to keep their relationship a secret. Dr. Baker agrees to stay out of Nicole's life. Bo tells the kidnappers there will be no ransom. Dr. Baker uses Nicole's money to gamble. Philip asks Melanie to give him and Stephanie a moment of privacy. Rafe goes to the now-closed clinic to ask about Dr. Baker. Nicole questions Arianna about Rafe. Phillip convinces Melanie she's not a rebound affair and they end up at a hotel having sex. Rafe pleads for the help of a nurse in finding information on Nicole. EJ tries for complete genetic testing. A nurse at the clinic reveals intriguing info to Rafe - that both Sami and EJ were at the clinic when she gave birth. Nicole gets upset when E.J. wants to run genetic tests on Sydney. Philip wonders if Melanie will tell Stephanie the truth. A nurse tells Rafe that both Sami and EJ were at the clinic at the time of Sami's baby's birth. Ciara's kidnapping makes EJ want to protect Sydney by ordering complete genetic testing on her. Philip worries that Melanie will tell Stephanie the truth. Hope warns Bo that if they lose Ciara, they won't survive.
