Week Ending April 2

Marlena killed Alice and then confessed to John. The two struggled and Marlena fell off the penthouse balcony landing on top of Sami who still refused to believe Marlena is the killer. Marlena told Jan and Nicole she knows they killed Victor. Shawn proposed to Belle who kept her lie a secret. Jennifer had stomach pains after learning of Alice's death. Kate pushed Phillip to go after Belle. Marlena told Sami that she is innocent.

Week Ending April 9

Patrick was able to make it look as if he saved Jen's baby and she thought he was her guardian angel. Shawn broke up with Belle after he learned of her lie. Marlena said that John tried to kill her. Julie was attacked by bats at Jen's house. Celeste said she felt Marlena was innocent and John raced off to find the real killer. Bonnie prepared to open Alice's Bar. Patrick struggled with keeping up his plan involving Jen and her family. Sami and Lucas shared a passionate kiss and then Sami learned that John was going after someone he thinks is the real killer. Bonnie told Phillip to go after Belle.

Week Ending April 16

John brought Hattie in thinking she was the killer, but she had an alibi for each murder. Shawn decided it was time for him to leave town. Marlena showed up at Alice and Doug's funeral. Bonnie decided to use Rex in order to get her liquor license. Patrick told a mystery guy he would not hurt Jennifer. Jan built a cage that she hopes to keep Shawn in. Celeste had a visit from Alice's ghost who told her another death is coming.

Week Ending April 23

Father Jansen pronounced that Marlena was not possessed and she was arrested. An inmate died while Marlena was in jail and she was accused of the killing. Sami got drunk, but later sobered up and woke up to her feelings about Lucas and the two made love. Marlena agreed to take a truth serum. Belle was afraid she would end up crazy like her aunt Samantha and possibly her mother Marlena. Nicole was afraid Marlena would spill the truth about Victor's murder.

Week Ending April 30

Kate found Sami and Lucas in bed together. Rex shared a romantic dinner with Mimi. Jennifer got closer to Patrick, but Abby found info on the Internet that he is a con artist. Marlena admitted under the truth serum that she had committed the murders. Kate urged Phillip to go after Belle. Will overheard part of Marlena's confession. Sami was devastated when Marlena confessed to killing Roman.
